Newsletters

We understand the importance of keeping our parents and families 'in the loop' with what is happening at our Preschool.   Termly we produced a newsletter with Preschool news and dates, as well as information for the Committee.  These are emailed to our families.

Weekly, we will email you a 'Weekly Update' with the learning that has taken place during that week and how it supports your child's development.  Please ask a member of our team if you are not receiving these or would like a paper copy!

Preschool Update: September/October 2019

We have an exciting few terms ahead, with many new families to welcome to our preschool community.  We are busy fundraising over the next term and hope to raise funds for quality literacy resources (particularly books to support rhyme and enjoyment of reading in young children) and numeracy resources.  One of our dad's, Luke Pilbeam has kindly donated his time and resources into making us an amazing 'take a book leave a book' house.  It is our hope that this can be used for books to promote reading and sharing for those aged 0-5 years across the community.....look out for it on our fence!

Our team will be working on our action plan, looking at areas that we can improve over the next few terms.  Over the summer we achieved our goal of getting a weather proof, wet pour surface, allowing us to use our climbing area, mud kitchen and sand pit area more readily.

Since receiving funding through the HEPA grant, we have really worked on sourcing fantastic new resources to support different forms of physical movement, as well as continuing to think about healthy eating in our setting.

Our AGM, held on 7th November at 8pm in the preschool.  We welcome all.  Last years was a big success and we welcomed many new families.  To read the manager's report form our last AGM pleasae click here.

With many fundraising events coming up, we are constantly evolving and improving our facilities and resources.  Please, if you'd like to get involved with the committee, click here to find out more.
